LEADERSHIP

Elders

Carlton Landing Community Church is led by a team of elders.

Cole Feix

Elder, Senior Pastor
Cole is the Senior Pastor of Carlton Landing Community Church. He graduated from Oklahoma State University, completed a Master’s of Divinity at Oklahoma Christian University, and a Ph.D. in Philosophical Theology at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He previously served at churches in Oklahoma and Missouri.

Cole and his wife Laura were married in 2021 and moved to Carlton Landing shortly after. Find them at the Meeting House, on a walk, or just enjoying life in CL.

Grant Humphreys

Elder
Grant and Jen have been married for 24 years and they have 5 kids – Emma, Ford, Jack, Mary, and Hank. They’ve been part of CLCC since the original church plant and have served the church in different capacities over the years.

The Humphreys split their time between Oklahoma City and Carlton Landing. When not at the lake, Grant manages a real estate investment fund and Jen pours into younger women and serves with Hope Is Alive ministries. Together, they serve on the Advisory Board for the national Campus Ministries of Cru.

Kerwin Dees

Elder
Kerwin moved to Carlton Landing in 2017 with his wife Nancy. Together they have 6 children and 17 grandchildren. Kerwin loves Jesus, God's Word, the church, and his family. He is the Athletic Director and Men's Basketball Coach at Regent Preparatory School in Tulsa.

Kerwin seeks to live by Hebrews 10:23-25: "Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another - all the more as you see the Day approaching."

Kirk Humphreys

Elder, Chairman
Kirk and his wife, Danna, live in Carlton Landing and Oklahoma City. Kirk leads the men’s bible study on Saturday mornings in Carlton Landing and a mid-week group on Zoom, and serves as a mentor to his sons Grant and Blair as they lead their family's real estate private equity business.

Danna and Kirk are blessed with three children and fifteen grandchildren, and stay busy trying to keep up with all of them.

JD Fuller

Elder
JD, his wife Kristi, and their four children fell in love with Carlton Landing in 2015.  They were founding members of CLCC and have been serving and praying for this amazing church since day one!  JD, the Fuller kids, and a few other great Carlton Landing musicians served as our first worship band in those early years, and still lead worship whenever they can!
The Fuller family is very passionate about building community and felt called to open The Meeting House in 2018 to promote this mission.    It is their desire to provide a casual and family-friendly atmosphere, a place to break bread together, make new friends, and laugh with old ones!
When not at Carlton Landing, JD is likely spending time with family and friends in Waco, Tx or working in Little Rock, Ar as a bariatric surgeon.   It's an action-packed life but that's been God's plan so far for the Fuller Family!
JD strives to live according to Ephesians 2:10 "For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."

Chuck Mai

Elder
Longtime Oklahoma journalist and broadcaster Chuck Mai and his wife, Nancy, first bought a vacation home in Carlton Landing in 2013. Upon retiring four years later, they made CL their full-time home, providing their three adult children and their families what has become a popular base of operations for holiday celebrations, lake life and family reunions. Chuck says, “We see evidence of God’s hand at work in Carlton Landing every day. The people are so warm and giving! Nancy and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for our little town as His divine plan unfolds.”
